Co-FounderServant'S Heart Foundation, Inc. 1992 - PresentNewport Beach, CaliforniaServant’s Heart is our family foundation that was founded in 1992 by Paul and Kathy Neff. Our primary focus is providing financial and mentoring support to Christian ministries around the world. Our main giving focus are ministries that specialize in one or more of the following areas: 1. Holistic ministries - serving the poor and needy by providing/meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs; with an emphasis on teaching them to fish versus providing fish. 2. Evangelism3. Leadership development - a focus on educating, equipping, encouraging, and protecting pastors and Christian leaders around the world. An absolute match for us is when our financial gift will not only meet the need of the intended focus, but will strengthen the local church at the same time. We believe God has been, and continues to change the world through the local church; therefore, it is highly favorable any time our gift can either go through or strengthen the local church.

Real Estate BrokerN & S Enterprises 1974 - 1980I began my real estate career just after graduating from Arcadia High School in 1974. I was able to put together some creative financing and I purchased two homes on one lot for close to land value. I hired a couple of friends from high school and we worked for three months refurbishing both homes. Three months later, I sold the homes at a substantial profit and thought this real estate business is pretty attractive. During my years at Pasadena City College and USC I partnered with a friend from high school and we developed a rather substantial real estate redevelopment firm. We took the profits from my home sale, purchased a 16-unit apartment house in El Monte, CA, refurbished it and sold it within 6 months making another attractive gain. We then purchased a 32-unit apartment house next door, refurbishing and selling it in a short period of time. In total, over 5 years, we turned over 28 different properties that ranged in size from an 88-unit apartment house in Beverly Hills to a 40,000 sf. warehouse that we converted to retail space located on Capital Hill, Seattle, WA. We expanded into Phoenix, purchasing both apartments, office and retail space. I managed all of our financing relationships and negotiated all of our real estate loans. At our peak, we had 53 employees and managed every aspect of real estate refurbishment/management all of this I was doing during the time I was attending USC. Our specialty was income producing properties that were either mismanaged, in poor to average condition or where the higher and best used was not being pursued. We would then refurbish the property, improve management, achieve 100% occupancy and then sell the asset. I learned much more during these five years than I did attending college as nothing replaces good hands-on experience.
