Paul Ohlman provides traditional forestry services in the Western Region of the country and holds a Registered Professional Forester(RPF) license from the Board of Forestry and Fire Protection (CALFire) in the state of California. Paul has held many supervisory roles and provides a diverse array of services including the writing of forest management plans, overseeing defensible space and timber harvest projects, completing timberland conversions and exemptions, and timber marking and mapping. Paul joined Davey Resource Group in 2012 and has worked on an array of forest management and fuel reduction projects, many of which were implemented through grant funding. Paul has extensive experience working with clients and land owners to meet project goals efficiently. He has worked as a project manager on a federal utility vegetation management project for the Western Area Power Administration. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry with an emphasis on Resource Management from the University of Missouri. He is an ISA Certified Arborist with the Utility Specialist endorsement and is also ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified. Mr Ohlman also holds a CALFire archaeological surveyor certificate, and a CA DPR Qualified Applicators License(QAL).
