At the moment, I am at onwup at yahoo.com, deploying my development communication skills of facilitation, BCC, C4SC, Advocacy Communication, Community Engagement, Stakeholder Engagement, Networking, Partnership, Participatory approaches and mixed Media skills, including project management abilities to manage a World Bank and WHO funded Covid-19 Call Centre and Risk Communication activities to enable the communities understand and appreciate the risk of the Covid-19 pandemic and the benefits of accepting and changing their behaviors by adhering to the Covid-19 preventive protocols and to take the available Covid-19 Vaccines; that is safe and effective.I have been involved in Public Administration strengthening, Policy and Good Governance advocacy, Economic and Human Development interventions work for over 20 years as a Development Facilitator, Planner, Programme and Project Management implementation, Communicator, and Researcher; including NGO management, Monitoring and Evaluation, cutting across Human Rights and Democracy Promotion, PFM reform advocacy, Budget analysis, tracking and advocacy, programme implementation and operations, institutional capacity strengthening of the Civil Society, Media and Government/Legislature: Parliamentary engagement and strengthening, Voice and Accountability programming, State building for service delivery and peace building results for citizens. Am also involved in programme and project designing, communication strategies formulation and developing mechanism for stakeholder management and engagement, participation and partnership development.For instance, I was able to use my facilitation, networking, media and legislative engagement skills to organized, mentor and coordinate Civil Society Groups, Media Practitioners and the Legislature to do a budget analysis, and advocacy that got the Kaduna State Government to reduce it 2010 annual budget by NGN30 Billion Naira to make it realistic and enable CS participation in the Budget process till date.
