Paul Ormrod is the founder of Cashfac plc and of Cashfac Virtual Bank Technology®. In addition to his leadership role he has a particular interest in digital banking for the Unbanked and VulnerablePrior to setting up Cashfac Paul had a career in banking, capital markets, management consultancy and audit. He advised on large scale business and technology strategies for banks, brokers and securities market-makers in Europe, Australia and Singapore. He was the founding director of Lloyds Bank Stockbrokers and the lead consultant in the business planning and trading technology at Nomura in London.Paul's work for 2 years in M&A included acquisitions and sales of stockbroking firms.Paul was a management consultant at PW (now PWC) where his industry focus was capital markets operations and banks. He also worked on large scale IT reviews in defence, retail and property management.Paul is a Member of the Securities Institute and a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. In his spare time Paul is a rugby referee and a member of the London Society of Rugby Union Referees.
