After 29 great years with JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle), I started Torque Consulting, a corporate training and consulting practice focusing on developing and maintaining customer relationships with an emphasis on business development. My cornerstone offering is a very unique customer relationship management workshop. I have successfully consolidated the materials from my popular graduate college class into this highly interactive workshop. The content is applicable to any industry and professionals at all levels. I also offer other seminars and workshops related to developing deep relationships, communicating a winning image in our professional and personal lives, leading with purpose, and the keys to becoming an empowered presenter.In addition to my corporate training and consulting business, I teach a unique Customer Relationship Management class in the graduate business programs at the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago and the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University. I also teach in the undergraduate business program at Wheaton College. The goal of my class is to teach strategies and techniques to attain, maintain, and enhance long-term, mutually beneficial, trust-based relationships in our professional and personal lives. In my spare time, I'm a softball and baseball hitting coach. I enjoy working with hitters who want to learn the progressive hitting keys I teach that quickly lead to more power and consistency. I write a popular hitting blog and published a book on hitting for baseball and softball players called Hitting With Torque: For Baseball and Softball Hitters. My latest book Going Going Gone! is for children. It is a fun story that also teaches my simple and effective’s hitting keys to young ballplayers.
