Current Technical lead for the IR Sensor Board (IRSB) Product Improvement (PI) Program. The IRSB PI effort was to update existing IR Sensor Board from a simple “Go/No Go” lamp illumination detection to a high-performance lamp energy measurement quality detector. The design utilized an Actel’s ProASIC APA300 FPGA for system control and fault detect processing. Developed processor-based circuit card for the semiconductor laser control. This digital card contains a 16-bit Infineon microcontroller with Ethernet, serial, and discrete inputs/outputs. Worked closely with Software Engineering staff to developed flight operational software. Successful laser and processor designs resulted in additional contract award. Electrical lead for the AATECS System. Responsible for design, specifications, system integration, coordinate schedule, and support a team of six engineers to integrate five main subsystems.• Key electrical engineering staff for all production IRCM system. Supported product upgrade analysis, field installation, field troubleshoot and repair, customer interface, and obsolescent support. Product improvement studies resulted in additional contract award for system upgrades.
