MxD (Manufacturing x Digital) provides insights and thought leadership to the modernization of US manufacturing. As Director of Engineering, responsibilities include: - Responsible for 22,000 square foot factory floor which includes multiple digital manufacturing demonstrations as well as multiple Partner spaces and several unique testbeds that were designed, developed and built by MxD. - I am a primary ‘tour guide’ of the factory floor to a variety of audiences that visit MxD to experience and learn about digital manufacturing ideas, concepts, and practical applications for common use cases that can applied to their operations.- Provide on-site visits to MxD Members and DoD facilities to develop and provide detail analysis to transition to digital manufacturing at a production line or facility level. This work focuses on hands-on modernization of the US Industrial Base.
