In the early stages of my career as a production engineer, I live by the motto "Learn process. Learn people. Learn safety." Creating close relationships with operators, fellow engineers, office professionals, and leaders has allowed me to safely and efficiently increase facility throughput by eliminating downtime as well as leading and managing multiple expansion projects worth over $1.2M. Data-driven results is the name of my game. I rely on the numbers to quantify system performance improvements and justify project need and execution. In my first year of professional engineering, I've worked to deliver solutions by:- Managing end-to-end project execution within budget, timeline, and safety deliverables- Improving equipment reliability through improved material selection and preventative maintenance execution- Fostering operational excellence of product transfer systems, feed conveyors, blowers, and railcar, truck, and marine barge loading systems.My passion for people is at the center of my career. Because of this, I was asked to serve our newest employees through RISE, Dow's employee resource group for new employees. I manage all networking and social events, as well as connect our new talent to the facility and global leaders to foster long term relationships for personal and professional development. I also execute Dow's vision for co-ops and interns, leading them through their term to success and hands-on education.Outside of work, I'm a passionate student of the culinary arts and explorative globetrotter.
