Responsible for leading the Technology and Innovation Practice of the Conference Board of Canada, which includes a portfolio of research projects, research centres, and executive networks, including the Council of Chief Information Officers, Council for Innovation and Commercialization, Council for IT Executives, and Council for Information and Knowledge Management. Particular knowledge focus is in the areas of innovation and commercialization, building an innovation ecosystem, ICT adoption, information technology management, and knowledge management. Also work closely with the Conference Board’s National Security and Strategic Foresight practice, and The Centre for Business Innovation, a multi-year intensive research centre focusing on how innovation happens within the firm. Previously held a leadership role with the Centre for the Advancement of Health Innovations and the Council for Innovative Procurement in Health Care. Responsible for leading such research studies as “Adopting Digital Technologies: The Path for SMEs”, “Leading Innovation for Business Value and Growth: The new CIO Value Proposition”, and the study on “Building Innovation and Commercialization Ecosystems – Collaboration Among Industry, Academia, and Governments”, among others. Regularly asked to speak at conferences and events, and have been a witness to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology, completing work on digital technology adoption among SMEs.

Responsible for leading the Technology and Innovation Executive Networks practice area of the Conference Board, which includes the Council for Chief Information Officers, Council for IT Executives, Knowledge Strategy Exchange Network, and the Council for Innovation and Commercialization. Also worked closely with the Health Innovation, Policy and Evaluation practice, helping to lead the Centre for the Advancement of Health Innovations and the Council for Innovation Procurement in Health Care. Also work closely with the National Security and Public Safety Practice on issues related to cyber security, emergency management, etc.

Responsible for finance solutions in the $1 - $10 million credit facility range, helping clients grow and compete internationally, with a specific focus on technology based firms.

Management of the business development group and partners – internal team, IT partners, integrators, and product interest groups. Responsible for driving growth, export initiatives, and establishing and gaining value from reseller partnerships in the US, Brazil, Peru, and Chile. Client management of Fortune 500 companies for large contracts, and delivered product and subject-matter expertise presentations at numerous conferences, including CSI NetSec and to various interest groups.
