EXPERIENCE12.14.98 - Ceridian Life Works Service Delivery, Plymouth Meeting, PAPresent Current Position: Management Services Consultant: As a member of this team, I help client companies respond to various management issues by providing management consultations to Human Resources Managers around performance and substance abuse issues in the workplace. I also arrange for onsite services to help client companies respond to and recover from critical incidents. In addition, I occasionally personally provide the onsite crisis intervention service locally, and have done so after bank robberies, downsizings, and suicide of an employee. I also provide clinical guidance to managers on how to deal with a potentially suicidal employee, and provide direct assistance to the employee as appropriate. This position allows me to exercise judgment within broadly defined principles and practices. I also serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues. Prior Positions within Ceridian Life Works Service:Team Manager of the Dedicated Triage Team as well as Team # 3. I managed the start up Dedicated Triage Team. The team was responsible for directing calls coming in on 23 telephone lines from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. I concurrently managed a team of One Source Consultants. In this role I provided supervision and performance management. I also participated in interviewing potential new hires. EAP One Source Senior Consultant and Shift Leader. I took managed care calls and assisted in the training of new hires for our startup operation in St. Petersburg, Florida. I was also a member of the backup Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) team, coordinating the scheduling of onsite services after critical incidents, such as bank robberies or death of an employee. I also provided assessment, referral, and/or telephonic short term problem resolution counseling.
