As a leader in charge of site reliability processes, I lead the automation of infrastructure building/provisioning utilizing Terraform templates and modules. I oversee infrastructure enhancements to AWS, Azure public clouds and Vsphere private cloud while using a broad spectrum of tools including Terraform, ansible, Git, Atom, AWS S3 buckets, ec2 instances, VPCs, and network ACLs. Additionally, I manage projects automating and implementing comprehensive systems and tools.Some of my notable contributions include:• Planned and implemented Accela CRM server/application migration from RackSpace cloud to AWS solution.• Led integration of AWS CloudWatch and Instana monitoring, metrics, logging, and display on monitoring dashboards. • Automated deployment of Accela CRM API, web, notification, and cache server software through design of Terraform templates/modules and Ansible playbooks.• Authored Confluence wiki pages that comprehensively documented Rackspace and AWS CRM components. • Provisioned Kubernetes cluster containing docker images and Hashicorp consul services pods.

In this role, I automated the provisioning of server builds and apps for all environments. I created Chef recipes used in numerous processes including automation, deployment, and server config. Some of my notable contributions included:• Utilized Chef to build 10-150 node clusters onto AWS Cloud.• Deployed updates to all environments by using Git and Jenkins to test/validate code and recipe revisions.• Plan and implemented migration of GE Digital physical servers to AWS cloud

I coordinated management of our servers within AWS using a vast toolset that included EC2, ELB, S3, AutoScale, and Route53. In support of that, I managed a client/server app migration onto the AWS cloud. I also led biweekly application and patch deployment to thousands of Yahoo SBS servers.Some of my notable contributions included:• Produced unique Chef recipes automating installation of Sensu system monitoring across more than 4000 servers.• Manufactured hybrid cloud environment through provisioning of FreeBSD and Centos servers in DC11 and AWS.• Coordinated service and performance of 800,000 SBS customer websites.

Leveraging my DevOps experience and knowledge, I utilized CI/CD tools to test/install Puppet modules onto servers. I developed automation scripts for deployment of SaaS cloud-based state health exchanges onto both physical servers and VMs.Some of my notable contributions included:• Created files repurposing Puppet modules spanning QA, stage, and production environments.• Designed Rundeck jobs streamlining one-button distributed deployment on both new and existing releases.• Produced modules/scripts standardizing application directory structure across state health exchanges.
