Up-skilling and learning are a massive part of who I am, having the freedom to better myself is important to me as I need to apply myself to my role and to my employers 100%, if I cannot do that, I'm not happy and content, my top attribute is definitely my ability to get stuff done, understand the task at hand, know what information is needed and going out to get that information, it is how I have built up a good relationship with many individuals within this industry.I quickly progressed through new connections at E.ON, helping to train agents, pass on information, prevent potential RP issues, eventually moving to metering where I started focussing on the wider industry with residential billing, classic PP, SMART PAYG, Elective HH and Market Wide HH, I settled and began to spot gaps and then begin to build process maps on areas such as MAP04, AMR Non-Com, shipperless gas meters, prime and sub billing, all to plug the gaps to avoid the loss of funds, but, as much as I enjoyed E.ON, unfortunately, I felt if I were to continue on my own personal path, it would clash with the goals of the company, I moved to Yu Energy for and don't 5 but unfortunately it did not work out and i targeted a move the ENSEK.I have gathered a wealth of knowledge in my short career in energy, been across the whole of operations and gathered many skills and picked up many processes, specialising in metering, new connections and smart, NHH and HH, all types of supplies, including gas. I am keen to improve my knowledge and experience and am always happy to pick up new roles, skills and duties.I have built a metering team from scratch, training each member personally and investing a lot of time and effort to help them all succeed, I began that journey in August 2020 and my last input was may 2022, leaving them in a perfect position.I have furthered my overall knowledge after moving into the domestic/residential market with EON, learning processes from billing to residential New Connections, I have also been involved in Elective HH and Market Wide HH, helping build and monitor the process, how the SMART adaptor works in HH (MC F) to the data flows and how faster switching can affect the process.Am now part of ENSEK, having achieved all I needed to as part of a supplier, working for another side of the industry is my main focus, I hope to upskill and progress as much as possible, ENSEK has been a personal goal for a long time so finally getting there is huge, I hope to be as successful as possible and give back to those that put their trust in me.

within this role I have successfully trained and introduced 3 colleagues into metering, educating them on the basics of a supply to managing the P272 process and new connections. I also lead our smart (SMETS2) project, from ensuring installs to managing each meter on our ASE-I app, within this project I have helped our ability to provide Pre-Pay, from testing the 1st account, making sure it is connected correctly and will accept top-ups. training a new team that has no industry knowledge and leading this new team has allowed me to mould or metering department into what I believe is highly beneficial to the company, we manage our own customers, installers, processes and partners and ensure we provide assistance to the wider business which will hopefully give my staff the confidence to go as far as possible, strong staff means a strong team.

progressing with my metering knowledge, I no longer dealt with new connections but took over the complete P272 process and was more involved with metering itself, fine tuning and perfecting it as much as I could and designing a process map for the completion of P272 as well as CoMC. I took more responsibility within the metering part of my role, focusing on more complex queries like cross meters, shipperless supplies, rogue meters and faults/emergencies. I also investigated complex billing queries that involved metering, from inconsistent half hourly data, negative consumption, static AMR reads and found meter queries, I would then fix the issue and Bill the account.

In this role, I ran the new connections portfolio, ensuring meters were installed within 21 days and in some cases within 15 days. I issued the flow to request the install, D0142, monitored the progression and ensured all the install flows were received, D0010, D0149, D0150 or the D0268. I also monitored the agent nomination flows and CoMC. I also felt with gas new connections with National Grid, SMS and Energy Assets. I ran the P272 programme as well, ensuring as many maximum demand sites were transitioned as possible. I dealt with general metering queries as well, ranging from emergency's, upgrades, advising on supply, disconnections, MPAN and MPRN creation and was escalation point for other teams

Started with no experience but built up a wealth of knowledge thanks to a boss that pushed me further and further and gave me no end of support. I won an award for impact and progression in my 1st month and was in the running for employee of the year after 6 months. Although I was not a coordinator or key account manager, I was often used as an escalation point due to what I learnt about the industry as a whole and my ability to see issues in a different light, dealing with angry customers and offering to be their own account manager and overseeing their account. I set up and ran a successful sub metering team which led to 2 of my colleagues being given more lucrative roles. I also ran a few projects, most notably, an opening meter reads project, designing a process FAQ and training guides regarding metering and meter reads, how to retrieve them, what to look for on the meter, when to give them, what the flows are for and what they mean, I.E. a D0036 being half hourly data and including various registers. this led into me being giving the role on metering and new connection.
