CACI acquired my company, Softsmart, in 2008 and I remained with the business to help build a new and expanded children and young people's services division. I stayed with the company for almost 8 years during which time the C&YP unit grew with amalgamations and further acquisitions. The business developed, delivered and supported a range of specialist software applications and services for local authorities, central government departments, private sector and voluntary service providers. The focus was on providing case management and reporting systems for those supporting or providing services to children, young people and families across the country. We were key suppliers to the Youth Justice sector, education, early years and multi-agency services.Over the last 18 months of working with CACI I had full P&L responsibility, reporting to the UK Board, for the C&YP business. During which time we had a sustained period of profitable on target performance.

Founder and MD of this very successful IT business that quickly established an excellent reputation in the Early Years sector providing the leading contact and case management system for the early SureStart projects. This business grew over subsequent years developing further applications for this sector and leading the way in the provision of applications for the expanding Children's Centre network.The business was eventually acquired by CACI in 2008

Short term contract running this popular, privately owned golf course. This involved the day to day management of the club, greenkeepers and house staff as well as organising golf events and competitions.The additional brief was to develop a robust and up to date H&S policy for course and staff activities; develop revenue from non golf events, improve golf shop business and generally increase profitability.

The culmination of 13 years in the Building Society/banking business was as Area Manager for Eastbourne. This involved responsibilty for several branches and sub branches across the town.Duties covered - staff management and development, branch office management, sales, mortgage and loan management, audit and control.
