I have over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, covering a range of areas and capabilities. I helped architect, build, support and manage a highly scalable IDS system with sensors deployed world wide. This segued to managing the teams supporting the continued development, support and extension of the system to performing research and development of additional tools and techniques (such as machine learning) to continue pushing the detection capabilities state of the art.After managing the teams responsible for the infrastructure for a DoD CSSP, I transitioned to the private sector where I utilize my kills to manage a team developing, deploying, supporting and maintaining content for detection and scoring alerts for an MDR company taking data feeds from a wide range of sources (cloud, system logs, detection tools, etc.).

I was one of the original architects of the system that has continued to grow in size and capabilities over the years it has been in use.
