I have over 15 years of experience helping undergraduate and postgraduate students develop their academic skills and subject-specific knowledge and understanding. When working with students, I aim to help them become independent learners who can problem-solve and know when and how to seek assistance with their studies. I have contributed to research projects in sport and exercise science, vision science and musculoskeletal injury and rehabilitation and have written several scientific articles and textbook chapters. I now edit Grappling: Art & Science – a digital magazine that makes scientific research and concepts accessible to coaches and athletes involved in grappling sports.
