Train Production and Quality Assurance staff in assembly, measuring, testing, troubleshooting and repair of Loranger components. Work with Engineer and Sales Departments on new, updated socket design and assembly. Design and/or make assembly and test fixtures. Organize and write procedures and programs. Conduct production-time studies, and use various forms of technology to complete job orders to ship on time. Responsible for most electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, other facility issues, and staff issues and conflict management.

Owned both businesses. Performed electrical and mechanical maintenance and calibration of photo finishing equipment, operated darkroom & color photo labs, completed business tax forms, banking, and payroll, supervised and managed staff, scheduled staff, ordered supplies and inventory.

Worked with mechanical and electrical test engineers in planning, designing, building, and troubleshooting TV cable amplifiers. Also, help wrote and prepared operational manuals for production.

Completed electronic and mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and/or replacement of ceramic capacitor machines. Worked on machines up to 1000 V-DC and 440 V-AC.

Worked in electronic lab with teachers on checking students’ lab assignments to see that electronic boards they prepared were working properly and built to code.

Summers, 1976-1980. Assisted with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and heating for homes and businesses. Operated various power tools and heavy equipment.
