My role currently has me upgrading the integration platform, on top of my standard skills within my role of coding development, reviewing and testing, this project has allowed me to demonstrate my shell scripting to create automated processes which would lead to environment consistency and reduce user error on deploy as well as reducing technical verification time, I have also been able to expand my management and planning skills.I also look for automation opportunities, looking for a way to optimise the working day and also see if we can reduce time to test and test time without compromising quality. Further to this I also discuss future CI/CD with our partner companies to implement a more secure foundation of quality and shorten the development to test timescale even more.
