Responsible for all Procurement activities including Capex, OEM Equipment, MRO, Fleet, Logistics, and Services with annual expenditures of over $300,000,000.

Oversee all Indirect Procurement including MRO, Capex, Mobile Equipment, Contingent Labor, Fleet, IT, Professional Services, Real Estate, Travel, HR, Benefits, and other areas with annual expenditures of over $600,000,000. Supervise a direct staff of eight and indirect staff of six employees. Leading strategic sourcing activities, Capex negotiations, inventory reduction, cost savings, improved processes, and reduced procurement overhead in support of manufacturing operations.

Oversaw all procurement activities associated with capital equipment, construction, engineering, mobile equipment, energy, packaging equipment, and MRO, with annual expenditures of $350,000,000. Supervised direct staff of six and indirect staff of 10 employees. Guided strategic contract negotiations for new equipment and facilities, improving cash flow and exploring more favorable terms and conditions for company. • Implemented and upgraded procedures and policies for bid, review, and award of contracts and purchase orders, maintaining keen focus on total cost of ownership.• Achieved 10% cost savings while implementing centralized procurement process, improving relations with key stakeholders in operations.

Acted as engineering manager for largest digital control systems project for eight new power plants in China, with international staff of 50 engineers. Led and managed two large, multimillion-dollar process computer replacement projects focused on hardware, software, and firmware implementation, overseeing project management, procurement, and budget. Completed conversion of multimillion-dollar digital control system upgrade on schedule and on budget. Guided project management, procurement, and budget for entire project. • Managed approximately 50 engineers in Mexico, China, Egypt, Slovakia, and Foxboro, Massachusetts, with team responsible for hardware configuration of all systems. • Cultivated 10% savings for computer replacement projects.
