This included helping the client personnel to understand the market fundamentals as well as the methods through which data could be procured and settlement charges could be validated.City of Anaheim, Anaheim, CA July 2007 – August 2008- Supported client through the CAISO transition from zonal to nodal pricing (MRTU). This included explaining how the new market structure would affect the client as well as helping the client to participate in the MRTU simulation/readiness exercises sponsored by the CAISO. Special emphasis was placed on the ability to re-calculate settlement charges using market data to validate the CAISO results. Presented issues found in MRTU simulation/readiness exercises to the CAISO on behalf of the client and followed them through to resolution. Assisted client in redesigning its business processes to incorporate nMarket and reduce the use of inefficient manual spreadsheets and other tools.
