My role involves evaluation, selection and contracting of a large spectrum of projects financed by the European Union Grants.The main responsibilities are:• Ensuring a technical verification, using my knowledge and experience in structural design field, of technical projects submitted by applicants. • Writing of clarifications letters (if needed).• Giving my final approval over technical documentation of a project such as drawings, structural calculations, technical reports, specifications and estimations of a total cost, on the eligibility for funding or rejection of the project.• Undertake site visits and draws site visit report in accordance with the procedure established by manual of procedures.• Ensuring confidentiality of data and information accessible to the nature of my job duties.

I worked as part of a dedicated team of architects and structural engineers, for an architectural company with a tradition of more than 13 years in architectural field. My role was to ensure the engineering part of the company projects and also supervising the works in critical stages established by law. I mention that in October 2008, Igloo Design company was changed into Igloo Architecture.Responsibilities:• Performing accurate calculations of pressures and stresses placed on each element of a building; designing structures with materials like steel, concrete, timber and masonry;• Using a computer software to design models of structures and to assess how these structures will react to pressures (Etabs, Sap, Graitec Design);• Taking into account the relative impact of external forces and structural forces on the specific structure, strong winds, earthquake or snow loads;• Ensuring of guidance to my engineers colleagues in solving different problems of designing;• Meeting regularly with architects and engineers involved in each project;• Site visits on different phases of execution;
