At my previous 5+ year role as the PGA Director of Golf at The Dominion Club in Glen Allen, VA, I was a key contributor to the growth in membership, as the club increased from 350 to 520 memberships.The golf industry is also one of the best places to cultivate a creative, patient, and effective customer relations strategy that is applicable in any relationship-focused arena. I am an expert communicator, and my work as a golf instructor with men, women, and junior golfers of all ability levels has helped me refine my understanding of the nuance involved in finding the most successful way to connect with each individual.The strongest leaders in any industry have knowledge of their business from the nuts and bolts all the way through to the end user or customer. I have offered customer service from the cart barn through the Director's office and have learned through the years how to manage and motivate a staff to create an effective, cohesive, and enjoyable work environment.
