Resolution of findings resulting from an On-Site inspection regarding Credit Risk (performed by the Dutch Central Bank on behalf of the European Central Bank). I had a dual hatted role as project manager and subject matter expert (SME) in all phases of the project:Phase 1: Redesign of the Credit Risk Policy including all underlying processes and systems. The new Policy was successfully implemented in February 2023 after an extensive training provided to all Front Office, Credit and Special Operations staff;Phase 2: Design, build and implementation of a new (workflow driven) loan monitoring system. The system consists of large number of applications all build in Mendix. The system build started in October 2022 and was implemented (after providing a training program to all staff involved) early April 2024.Mitsubishi Financial Group Securities (MUFG Securities Europe N.V.): supported MUFG Securities Europe N.V. with a credit institution license application in the EurozoneBank Nederlandse Gemeenten: defined a new credit risk assessment framework and prepared for implementation.ING Bank: MKB derivates indemnification project: defined and implemented a testing framework for one of the main technical modules.Nationale Nederlanden Bank (NNB): supported the NNB market risk management department with preparing for a merger with Delta Lloyd Bank (performed a due diligence and prepared a roadmap).Pensioenfonds Metaal en Techniek (PMT): supported PMT with an IT Risk self-assessment, detailed the PMT IT Policy and drafted an implementation plan.Eurotravel Sports Netherlands (ESN): assisted ESN with selling the company (company was successfully sold in April 2017).

Co-founded two new fully digital, low-risk, mortgage banks offering long-term fixed rate mortgages to consumers. Mortgages are funded with matching covered bonds, as has been market practice in Denmark for over 200 years.Performed the CFRO and ad interim CTO role in both banks. Prototyped all bespoke Finance, Risk and Treasury software modules and the Datawarehouse.Perenna (London, UK). (Oct 2017 – April 2020)Perenna was founded in 2018, received preliminary approval from the PRA in the first half of 2020 and expects to commence lending in summer 2021. I left the company in April 2020 due to increasing COVID19 restrictions. Solid Mortgages (Utrecht, NL) – Oct 2010 – Dec 2015Solid Mortgages was founded in 2010 and taken over by a.s.r. Netherlands in 2013. Solid Mortgages was close to starting the operation when a.s.r. Netherlands decided to shelve the company at the end of 2015 (a.s.r. decided not to sell the company or support a management buy-out)
