Ensuring that the companies products are to the required specification and that the Standards we buy and sell to are conformed with. Ensuring that the current products are tested and maintained to the required standard.

Responsible for giving guidance to customers and sales staff on technical information regarding the use and properties of Steadman's products; these include composite cladding panels, secondary steel products, and sheet cladding. Carrying out calculations to determine suitability of Steadman's purlins and rails for use on building projects. Contribute to the development and performance of products; monitoring and improving current products and developing new products. Maintaining specification drawings, technical processes, data sheets, manuals, etc.

Working as part of a project team, working to tasks set out by the project manager. My workload included creating 3D models using AutoCAD inventor, producing method statements, works instructions, and risk assessments. This work was completed to the project specific procedures and added to the schedule for ongoing tasks.

Working as part of the Design engineering department, I was responsible from leading, and being a team member for, projects to improve plant performance, and implement repairs to machinery. Design and development of process and equipment improvement. Design of mechanical components to repair or improve production plant, from small fixes to ensure safe continued running, to longer span projects implemented over several machines. Managing projects for cost, time, design, component manufacturing and installation. All projects completed using standard project procedures and documentation.
