  • Rally
    Co-Founder
    Rally Aug 2022 - Present
    Auckland, New Zealand
Rally offers strategic business insights with real-time connections to a wide range of software products (SaaS and On Prem), as well as other data repositories. These connections are utilized to deliver customized insights without any restrictions. How do we achieve this? Through live and interactive dashboards, reports, and powerful models that truly impress our clients. Rally reveals the true story of what is happening within an organisation. We uncover valuable insights that enable improvement and further success. This unique approach and expertise make us industry leaders in Data-Driven Business Transformations. Rally specisialises in providing comprehensive business insights and practical recommendations to sports organisations that prioritise growth. My role is very much client focused. I spend the time to thoroughly understand our clients, their businesses, goals and needs. There's no point building something that looks great but doesn't address the client's needs or improve performance. I use my commercial experience and skills to provide them with analytics, insights, reports and dynamic dashboards that result in real "wow" moments. It doesn't stop there though. I spend the time explaining to clients what the insights they are seeing mean and how they can use that knowledge to improve performance. That's our 'secret sauce'. Blending analytical ability and curiosity with real world commercial experience. Dashboards are great ... but knowing what they are telling you and what to do with that information is even better!

    Director & Owner
Supercity Scaffolding Ltd Dec 2016 - Jan 2019
    Auckland, New Zealand
Supercity was a business that needed some TLC to realise its potential. It was run from a whiteboard and a dog-earred diary by a Founder who spent about 10 hours a week in the business. Upon take over, Supercity was transformed into a highly efficient, highly profitable, well known and recognised scaffolding company. During my time at the helm:• Quite possibly the most efficient and sophisticated job management system for a NZ scaffold company backed up in depth management reporting was put in place• Revenue doubled without a corresponding doubling of workforce or overheads• Gross Margins were significantly improved• Productivity was increased through moving yards and implementing a production line mentality to load and unload procedures• A full suite of policies & procedures and health & safety methodologies was established leading to acceptance into SARNZ at the first attempt• A strategic capex spend of nearly $1m was implemented and fully funded out of cash flow• Staff morale was boosted through initiatives such as apprenticeships, support to gain vehicle licences, monthly bonus schemes and budgeting courses• We provided all scaffolding and shrink wrapping services to The Block NZ 2018• I successfully advocated for a young talented Supercity scaffolder to win the New Zealand Scaffolding Trainee of the Year award
