A number of key areas have underpinned the 46 years that Paul has spent in various sectors of the construction industry. They include continuous commitment to implementing best practices in the management and support to the health and safety sector, effective communication, providing innovative solutions and, in particular, providing opportunities for people at all levels to achieve their aspirations. With his current involvement with a number of organisations, both in the public and private sectors, Paul is able to use his expertise and his relationships to influence and provide support for businesses and individuals to achieve their objectives and aspirations. The sectors in which he is involved include education, trade federations, contracting, third-sector community support and auditing. Paul continues to embrace technological advances through various mediums including UAV surveying. There have been a number of additional accountabilities during the past 10 years including governor roles for a number of schools and Colleges, consultancy roles in both modular and traditional contracting, external examining for both Universities and external bodies in construction, national chairman roles for trade federations and strategic involvement with CITB. Paul also has extensive experience in the third sector and social value with his involvement as a director of a social enterprise in construction.
