Responsible for the internal management accounts for the group of companies. Duties including overseeing the processing of company bookkeepers, Balance Sheet reconciliations, vat return and production of management accounts to present to directors.My responsibilities also include assisting clients with their management accounts and cashflows. These duties include providing advice and support throughout the bookkeeping procedures. Producing and reviewing managements accounts along with analysis of profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow.Also assist in the production of cashflows to be used to help the company manage it's short term and long term future and also to be used to present to creditors.

I helped set up this company along with the 2 owners, registering the company with Companies House and with HMRC for VAT and payroll. My responsibilities were monthly accounting including, management accounts, Balance Sheet reconciliations and reports explaining the business activities in the month. I was also responsible for the monthly payroll.

This is was my first finance job. I started off as a purchase ledger clerk and a credit controller while I studied for my AAT qualification. After a couple of years I was given the responsibility of the accounts for one of the subsidiary companies. This included all areas of finance from sales ledger, purchase ledger, cash book, producing management accounts and balance sheet recs.
