Managing day to day work priorities of the operational maintenance teams including roads, paths, parks, playgrounds, arboriculture, fleet, plant and sporting ovals.Responsible for the operational maintenance of approximately 700km of sealed roads and 700km of unsealed roads across the Mitchell Shire Council including road renewal programs.Management responsibility for operational budgets including road, parks, arboriculture, sporting precincts, fleet and plant, of $10 million per annum.Manage capital works projects annually between $8-$15million per annum dependent on budget fluctuations.Responsible for the management of all procurement and contract management relating to operational works contracts.Management of all staff matters related to approximately 60 FTE staff.
