Reporting into the Managing Director, I was responsible for the delivery of volume (700k HL), turnover (£42m) and net margin (£12m) for Magners GB branded and own label ciders.Managed a team of 10 with 4 direct reports.

Ipswich / Home

Reporting into the Managing Director, responsible for all Aspall's UK sales (£26m) and for the management of a sales team of 8 people.

Reporting into the Commercial Director, managed all of the Take Home Cider and Chilled Apple Juice customers for Aspall ranging from Multiple Grocers to High Street Retailers. Portfolio sales value of £6m and achived growth of +15% in each of the 2 years.

Saltaire, West Yorkshire

Started up a micro-brewery and visitor centre in West Yorkshire selling casks and bottles of real ale to the UK and overseas markets. Within 3 years of launch, annual turnover exceeded £1m and the business had moved into profit.

Managing a team of 2 account managers, I created channel strategies, budgets and promotional plans from scratch for the GBUK On Trade team (which included Cash and Carry as well as wholesalers).

Managing a team of 3 and also directly managed the Booker account. Sales Value in this sector was £15m and +5% yoy growth was achieved.

Managed all fo the key multiple grocer retailers (exc Sainsbury's and Somerfield) and significantly grew the business for Holsten in this sector.

Profitably grew MCC's busines within my portfolio by +30% yoy with the Tesco account increasing by +25% during this period.

Created and executed strategic plans whilst developing the working relationship with the relevant brand owners and external agencies.

Profitably developed H.P.Bulmer's business with the Co-op by achieving the volumes and budgetary spends in the account plan.

Created and implemented the account plans for all of the retail members of the CBC/Nisa Group as well as the major convenience store chains (inc Alldays and 7-Eleven).

Identified and maximised business opportunities in targeted Cash & Carrys and Wholesalers.

Called and serviced free trade accounts to agreed criteria.

Assisted in the developments of the Annual Promotional Plan, communicated this plan to all relevant departments and managers whilst monitoring its implementation.

Managed the Home Brewery sponsored Pub Sports Leagues and competitions within the Home Brewery estate and assisted in managing Marketing Outlet Support for Tied and Free Trade outlets.
