Paul Smith is the national Sector Director responsible for Land Development at Pell Frischmann. As Sector Director at Pell Frischmann, Paul is responsible for creating and delivering the company's market strategy and business plan for the Land Development Sector. Paul also retains Divisional Director responsibility for Traffic and Transportation at Pell Frischmann.With over twenty-seven years experience in the Land Development sector encompasing Development Planning, Transport Engineering, Urban Design and Project Management Paul's expertise is focused on strategic development promotion and masterplanning encompassing streetscape design, transport planning, accessibility, highways and junction layout design with particular specialisms in site assessment, car park and transport interchange design, from initial scheme concept to implementation.He is focused on continuing to grow and enhance Pell Frischmann's Transport and Land Development Planning capability throughout the UK and Ireland and continues to focus on achieving clients and partners development goals. His technical work over the last decade has focused on the critical interface between transport, land use planning and urban design, having a Masters Degree in Urban Design from the University of Westminster. He is currently managing a number of major mixed-use urbandevelopment and strategic land schemes throughout the UK. In addition to project management skills, Paul is frequently involved in undertaking complex transport assessments and managing strategic network modelling to support major urban regeneration and extension projects.Paul has also lectured on movement, urban design and streetscape at the University of Westminster as well as giving presentations to various external bodies.Specialties: Development masterplanning specialising in urban design, transport planning, accessibility, highways and junction layout design, car park and transport interchange design, from initial scheme concept to implementation.
