I currently lead and manage an in store sales, supply support team for a global multi channel company. Creating and constantly improving excellence of availability and range management. Keeping up to date with an ever changing market by synchronising commercial needs and activities to ensure the best availability to our customer at the lowest possible total cost. I am an active partner in the store commercial and steering groups and the communication link between the store and a wider global matrix. I have recently completed a global project that I was supporting for the last 6 months where I was the project leader bringing a new way of ordering and forecasting to all stores in the uk.

Working as part as a team based in IKEA's London head office I worked with a wider global supply matrix to secure the best overall availability for all stores in the UK and Ireland. We were the main point of contact for all stores for any supply related questions, identifying and securing competence in all store supply teams. As part of a team I would identify potential supply risks and challenge our supply chain matrix to minimise the impact to the customer experience. Working closely with the country sales team to provide accurate supply information and advice to support active sales steering. During this 2 years I was the responsible implementing the UK element of a wider global project bringing a new system to all stores that improved how we communicated supply information to the wider matrix for the benefit of our customers and staff.

As a Sales , Supply Support specialist my main goal was to create the best experience for the customer by ensuring a consistently high availability level at lowest possible total cost, working in partnership with the store commercial team. I acted as the main contact point in the store for all administration and operational supply-related questions, both for the in the store commercial team and the country supply matrix; I also worked in partnership with sales managers to secure accurate forecasting and ordering in alignment with commercial needs. While I was at the Coventry store I stepped out of the logistics function and took on a role as a sales manager. In this position I was accountable for the day to day running of the department as well as developing all areas of the business, to optimise sales and profitability. In addition I was accountable for the learning and professional development of my team.
