Perform software updates to communications packages using specialized software and a windows' based PC. I'm also required to update repair orders "incidents" via a software updating system. Responsible for properly documenting repair procedures, and troubleshooting steps used to resolve network failures. Knowledgeable in the use of specialized test equipment such as, Fluke Network Analyzer, Anritsu site master, IFR com 120b communications test set, and AM-44 transmission test set. Drive company vehicles to remotely located communications sites and perform troubleshooting and repair to restore service. Responsible for the timely Install of both voice and data communications packages in company vehicles. Maintain accurate records in regards to vehicle numbers, radio serial numbers, and radio id's for GPS enabled data radios used for tracking vehicle position.

Analyze, isolate, and repair all avionics computerized test stations used in diagnosing malfunctions with F-16 avionics components and special equipment malfunctions. Certified, calibrated, aligned, modified, overhauled, and performed all periodic maintenance inspections on all AIS (Avionic Intermediate Shop) Test Stations and required support equipment. Verify, analyze, isolate, and repair all test station associated LRU (Line Replacement Units) malfunctions. Diagnose circuit-operating characteristics using system peculiar test equipment and computer diagnostics. Isolate malfunctions to the failing component using self-test diagnostics and other associated diagnostic test equipment and replace failing components or subassemblies. Align, calibrate, and diagnosis faults within UHF and VHF radio systems used in the F-16 aircraft using associated technical publications and test equipment. I'm also trained in the proper methods of handling ESD (Electro Static Discharge) sensitive components.
