Wrote documentation and operating procedures for equipment and processes. Extensive experience with TIG welding and machining stainless steel.Project Highlights:Designer for In-house web handling machinery used to rinse, coat, and dry delicate filtration media. Shared responsibility for web-path layout, drive systems, process piping, overall project management, completion timeline forecast, and resource management. Also did some minor fabrication.Designer in charge of a refit for prototype injection molding equipment for proprietary product manufacturing in a clean room environment. Personally designed, fabricated, and tested a prototype mold cavity to solve heat exchange, part release, and smoke problems. All design criteria were exceeded by the prototype.Design, fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting of hand-operated clean room tools for pleat pack handling and filter assembly. Three generations of prototypes were required to arrive at a suitable solution. The new tools greatly reduced operator error and increased productivity.Project lead in charge of fitting a conveyor fed drying oven with automated loading and unloading robotics.
