I have been working in the storage arena for approximately 10 years, I have skills in backup and recovery using TSM, Symantec Net Backup PureDisk , which compliment my NAS Array storage expertise. In the NAS arena I specialize in all standard NetApp products including "7 mode", "Cluster mode" and all associate sub components such as DeDupe, Cloning, mirroring, HA, DR Etc.My role for the last 8 years has been that of a storage architect/Engineer providing pre-sales support to EDS/HPE/DXC clients allowing client requirements to be met whilst winning contracts to supply storage services. Once the pre-sales work has completed I take the requirements and model then into a solution, this includes Bills Of Materials, high level design, Low level design, Implementation guides, training plans, Etc., allowing a supportable solution to be procured, delivered, tested and handed over to the support teams in a timely fashion.This period has provided me with the privilege of providing solutions that save clients considerable costs in managing their estate through virtualization, centralization of data, and reduced monthly support costs. These designs have been turned into templates to allow EDS/HPE/DXC to reduce costs and time to market of our solution.I am skilled in data analysis which ensures that the client data is both understood and performs in accordance with any agreed SLA's.Clients include Government departments, large Banks, Insurance companies, offshore oil drilling companies, Petroleum Giants amongst others.
