Responsible for delivering production ready products that are aligned to the marketing requirements, company deliverables and with the innovation, durability and reliability that SawStop products are know for. Creating industry leading tool is achieved by leveraging the unique capabilities of my diverse team, transparent communication with key stakeholders both within and outside the organization and maintaining an enjoyable and challenging work environment. Conducting weekly one on ones with my team and department executives to prioritize tasks, provide feedback, address concerns, and align with each team member on changes in deliverables specific to them. Responsibilities also include developing project timelines, strategic hiring both within and outside of my team, and coordinating resource efforts among other directors and managers to achieve our goals.

Oversight of advanced development, product development and sustaining activities with team sizes ranging from 6 to 12 engineers. Implement workflow processes and approvals utilizing SolidWorks PDM and Fusion 360 PLM. Ensuring designs are in compliance and test to industry regulatory standards. Working closely with international contract manufacturers to meet cost and quality targets.

Designing, prototyping, validating and documenting table saw components for the next generation of safe table saws. Providing engineering support for existing product lines, resolving manufacturing inconsistencies and customer issues.

Responsible for the configuration of enclosures that mixed incoming gasses, in the correct ratios, for various semiconductor tool processes. Responsibilities included specifying mass flow controllers, gas line routing and enclosure designs to satisfy the customers’ requirements and aggressive schedules.

Responsible for the baseplate design, disk drive environment filtration and sealing, and drive acoustics. Worked on the advanced development team for hermetically sealed drives, developing new enabling technologies.

Responsible for design and development of silicon wafer carrier loading module for chemical mechanical planarization tool. Developed wafer carrier head technology to control silicon wafer polishing characteristics.
