Currently employed by Houston’s Methodist Hospital the Woodlands as the Environmental Services & Transportation department manager. I have over 10 years of salaried management experience, primarily in operations. Having worked for major Forbes Fortune 500 companies, I have garnered many relevant experiences. While working for Wal-Mart I gained experience in sales, marketing, and critical path management. I have taken 80 million dollar stores and turned them into 120 million dollar stores within a few years by modeling hard work and creatively strategizing which product to display and sell. In my current role with Houston Methodist, I have learned how to build a culture from the ground up. Along with my director, Jason Fischer, I have built the Environmental Services department from scratch. This includes: Hiring all staff, creating and adhering to annual budgets, ensuring key hospital metrics and deliverables, customer service, patient relations, and adhering to the company’s ICARE values. Over my career I've worked with multiple contractors to create budgets for projects and managed day to day operations. I have negotiated with vendors and created system councils to ensure uniformity across entities. I have thoroughly enjoyed my last 8 years working with Houston Methodist and look forward to a long career with them.
