An energy procurement specialist with twelve years of European procurement experience and eight years energy procurement management experience with two global multinationals.With a track record of managing complex energy portfolios across multiple markets, I have experience in managing both strategic sourcing and commodity trading elements across Europe, as well as implementing renewable strategies, negotiating PPA agreements, and consolidating diverse portfolios across markets.Throughout my procurement career across two global multinationals I have dedicated myself to becoming an essential part of the Procurement function, both at a local level, and on a global basis. I have a philosophy that the most important part of a procurement professional’s job is to show the best value to your stakeholders, whether that is on a financial, organisational, or other value basis. I have a range of experience across different spend categories that have given me a greater understanding of wider procurement management, as well as experience of implementing procurement strategies in difficult stakeholder circumstances. I have worked across a wide and challenging global scope in my last two roles, from mature markets to implementing procurement strategies in markets that have no previous experience with managed procurement process. I also have nearly three years of experience in home working, and the strategies required to be able to do so in a way that does not sacrifice either productivity or excellence in stakeholder management.
