As an employee relations officer at Canada Post, I leverage my 10+ years of postal industry experience and my certificate in occupational safety and health technology to support the management and employees in resolving workplace issues and enhancing employee engagement. I have a strong background in history, which gives me a broad and diverse perspective on various challenges and opportunities in the postal sector.In my current role, I use my organizational planning, human resources, and employee training skills to implement effective policies and procedures, coordinate recognition and development programs, and facilitate learning and feedback opportunities. I also collaborate with the local area superintendents, who I previously led as a local area supervisor for over two years, to reduce absenteeism, increase customer satisfaction, and improve safety and quality standards.
