Experienced marine engineer with 21 years practical experience on various different types of vessels from 2000 - 110000 tonnes. Experience in all types of Marine engines, Compressor plants, boilers, hydraulics, electrical and ancilliary equipment.Invited ashore in 2006 to complete Internal Maersk MBA course known as Maestro, worked as technical superintendent before advancing within the organisation, gaining experience in Lean management and Six Sigma (but no qualification) whilst attending IMD, London and Copenhagen Business schools.The A.P.Moller-Maersk Maestro (management training) program, has given me experience in finance, project management, HR assesment tools, business development, public presentations, leadership development, personal development, cultural diversity, supply chain management, service profit chain and business strategy.As Engineering superintendent for two Ultra Deepwater 6th generation Drillships within Stena Drilling further broadened my knowledge base to include offshore drilling and subsea solutions.
