Managed aspects of the implementation of a P25 public safety communications system used by the ministry of national security and its stakeholders. Was directly responsible for the acceptance, storage and installation of all infrastructure and the installation of over 15,000 mobile units and 200 base stations. Was responsible for working with departments of the Defence Force in the upgrade of its military communications network.

Hi AllI am late updating my status but as you know the government has decided to dismantle the SAUTT and they have formed the National Security Operations Centre. I have been retained as the Comms Tech Mgr and will fulfill all the new and exciting obligations that now encompass the NSOC.

Was part of a team that delivered a high definition downlink system in a record time of three months. This system played an integral part in the Fifth Summit of the Americas and the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting held in Port of Spain in 2009 and continues to play a very important role in the delivery of real time video to law enforcement, fire services and disaster relief operations; Attained the rank of Warrant Officer class 1 in my 30+ years of service with the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment where I gained manager status. Participated in the complete revitalization and overhaul of the military in the field of communications.An active participant in many fields of army life to include recruit training instructor, weapons instructor, jungle survival training, to name a few. Management:Managed the communications department of SAUTT from inception building a robust infrastructure to accommodate video, voice and data transmissions. Established partnerships with several private enterprises which saved thousands of dollars annually and formed relationships between private enterprises and other departments within SAUTT in the development of systems that aided in law enforcement.Operations & Logistics:Was the primary communications advisor to the Deputy Director Operations, responsible for millions of dollars worth of equipment. Responsible for the managing of several accounts with service providers and the procurement of durable and expendable items under the budget.
