Corps Of Engineers Officer
Arlington, Virginia, Us
I served in the Army Corps of Engineers, completing several large scale horizontal and vertical construction projects. This includes building scopes of work and managing the build of: 1) Bryan Commons Veteran's Memorial Park, a $3,000,000, 18 month project.2) The 2BCT motorpool at Fort Stewart. This motorpool turned 3+ acres of land into a functional motor pool with 10" thick concrete, with a 3.25' gradual slope, no drains, slip joints every 12 ft., and a 15 foot turn down footing around the entire exterior of the motor pool. The project was completed 50% under budget. Fort Stewart published a white paper to the office of the Chief of Engineers regarding this historic success.3) The Vietnam Era Guard Tower at the Army War College. The tower had to be built to withstand 250,000+ visitors throughout the year, with a 20 year certification. The tower's location was on top of a granite ledge. 4) The Fort Bragg Access Control point. I changed the scope of work from the original construction plans to adding over 8,000 ft. of conduit piping to exact locations within 1.5” precision to prepare for over $350,000 worth of electronics integration
