In ‘94 was asked by management to lead the Motorola Iridium Program. This consisted of high-speed satellite telecommunications links for Iridium satellite monitoring with major earth station construction in northern Canada as well as in the US. Program budget was over $2 million in capital expenditure. Successfully translated Motorola’s network operational requirements into a network design and project roll out plan then completed its implementation and commissioning.
