I provide practical advice to engage all stakeholders of a large multisite educational organisation, including; facilities and maintenance, print production, offices, training centres, call centres and logistic operations.My role has expanded over the years most recently focusing on strategic implementation and improvement of ISO accredited management systems although I am very much still involved with the day to day activities of risk assessments, audits, delivering training and… Show more I provide practical advice to engage all stakeholders of a large multisite educational organisation, including; facilities and maintenance, print production, offices, training centres, call centres and logistic operations.My role has expanded over the years most recently focusing on strategic implementation and improvement of ISO accredited management systems although I am very much still involved with the day to day activities of risk assessments, audits, delivering training and accident investigations.Key responsibilities: • Compile and present statistical reports to the Management Board which focus on HSE performance, legislative issues, carbon reporting and overall compliance• Preparing budget forecasts and managing HSE and training expenditure• Write and implement policy to maintain legislative and best practice compliance• Implement and maintain ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management standards• Complete independent audits to ensure a high standard of performance across the business• Develop and deliver a variety of training courses to meet the needs of the business ranging from stress awareness and improving personal resilience to contractor management and CDM. I have also developed a number of e-learning packages, for example, driving at work and environmental awareness.Recent achievements:• Developing and implementing a centralised risk management process covering activities of seven sites• Reducing environmental impacts and costs through managing various projects, i.e. waste handling and segregation, reducing water usage, installing energy efficient equipment and lighting• Developing and administering engaging HSE monthly promotions and awareness campaigns, i.e. annual step count challenges, greener travel, energy awareness and biodiversity issues etc. Show less

Based in London but with national travel, I worked in a team of two to conduct property inspections and deliver training courses. I had responsibility for 800 staff and 4000 clients. My other duties include accident and incident investigation and compiling monthly accident reports. Acting as a Deputy Supervisor, I was responsible for ensuring accurate work flow in the preparationof pathological specimens prior to analysis. I was also the departmental health and safety adviser, looking after staff over two hospital sites.
