NBN Co Limited, known as simply NBN, is a publicly-owned corporation of the Australian Government, tasked to design, build and operate Australia's National Broadband Network as the nation's wholesale broadband provider. As Field Supervisor/Specialist I have on-site responsibility for the delivery, quality, HSE compliance and contractor performance across all delivery components of the SDU, MDU, Complex and Clean up Programmes. Achievements• Monitor the construction of the NBN Co network for the premise connection programmes.• Drive and manage performance of the assigned construction contractor(s) to ensure achievement of NBN Co construction team objectives. • Provide direction, supervision and approval of onsite contractors undertaking the following.• Premise connections (Single dwelling units, Multi- Dwelling Units and complex premises) ie. Service Class 2.• Pit and pipe civil works required to close gaps between existing NBN local networks and lead-in pits.• Undertake QA/QI audits, Provide reports and verify fixes.• Development of working relationship with key external contractor groups combined with effective communication internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of key deliverables.• Delivery of pertinent construction data to the project team including performance data and HSE quality indicators.• Ensuring adherence to roll out schedules, variation order requests and approvals.• Any other task as requested by project manager.• Proactively clear roadblocks that may occur. • Ensuring compliance with site and technical quality standards.

As Supply Specialist my role has responsibility for the supply of materials and equipment for the safe, efficient and effective delivery of resources for the roll-out of the NBN project.Achievements• Managing Logistics processes for the on time delivery of NBN in the field.• Monitor and perform cycle counts, annual stock takes and stock reconciliation.• Managing Returns Process including Spares support, Construction material returns and Test Equipment returns for maintenance.• Field support in Reconciling Invoices for third party logistics (3PL) services.• Field Operations support including training of logistics processes to field staff.• Timely response to Field and Contractor enquiries.• Support the Supply Coordination Centre, Inventory, Project and Improvement areas as required.• Provide Logistics and Distribution support to key business stakeholders.• Recommend and perform requisitioning of the replenishment of material, based on the Distribution Plan and ad-hoc material needs when required.• Support the inventory team maintain inventory modules within ERP System.• Proactively follow up receipts and deliveries.• Assist with documenting and communicating processes and procedures for Logistics Operations.• Frequent travel, on-call and call-out activities.• Responsible for providing onsite management and support for Logistics Operations.• Monitor and audit HS&E compliance to work practices as per NBN Co HS&E policy.

As Project Coordinator my role was to track, manage, mitigate and resolve project issues and associated risks involved in the implementation of passive optical networks in order to ensure project continuity. Achievements• Accountable for maintaining store/warehouse, maintaining inventory which included cycle counts and stock takes, receiving and dispatch of goods, returns and the arrangement of all transportation including couriers. • Ensuring all OH&S protocols were adhered in relation to our warehouse/field locations. • Accountable for the ordering, delivery and allocation of all materials necessary.• Liaising and planning with sub contractors and field supervisors on a daily basis to ensure that all material requirements were in our warehouse for immediate use according to our construction programme.• Managing workflow to achieve all customer and company milestones and targets.• Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors and customers.• Update schedules daily through communication and Field Supervisors and Sub-contractors.• Identifying resources needed and assigning individual responsibilities where necessary.• Managing client escalations and requests for information in a timely manner that meets or exceeds the clients’ expectations.• Ensuring that all testing, commissioning and handover documentation required for practical Completion is obtained to meet programme target dates.
