Worked as a Senior Software Engineer and started to lead small teams on a couple of projects were we applied Agile methodologies.IVR Development projectsLead the maintenance and development of IVR projects with the below responsibilities:- Trained team members into IVR development technologies;- Continuous development of IVR applications;- Keeping the IVR systems and infrastructure up to date;- Supervising the development and delivery of the IVR programs to the end clients.- Migrating some systems to the cloud (AWS) and creating a hybrid architecture (On Premises - Cloud)- Enforcing best practices on development, implemented Agile Development.Mobile apps developmentLead the development of a user centered Early Warning & Vulnerability Alert System (EWVAS) application. On this project some of my responsibilities were:- Guiding the team on the development path, creating and allocating tasks, prioritizing work;- Implementing Agile Methodologies on the project;- Android Development (Android Studio, Gradle);- Assuring best practices are applied on the project and tasks are delivered on time;- Coaching the team members.Cloud migrationsLead the migration of a web system from On Premises to public cloud, in our case we choose AWS:- Analysis of the migration, migration preparation, evaluating performance and security requirements, calculating costs and making any necessary code refactoring prior to migration- Migration PoC, replacing components with the AWS counter parts where possible;- We used a mixed cloud migration strategy ( Replatforming + Refactoring / Re-architecting) that allowed us to migrate faster and reduce running costs by more than 50 %.

I started to work as a Software Engineer and mainly worked on creating an infrastructure for developing and running custom IVR applications. Our team used both open sources and proprietary solutions to build an High Availability IVR & Contact Center system that allowed us to run highly customized IVR applications that are integrating with different thirds party API's at very low costs. We used technologies like Voice XML, VoIP (SIP) for the telephony part and mainly Java/Spring Framework/SQL for the Back End, Web and API components. On this infrastructure we developed and maintained on demand custom IVR applications for our end clients.We also implemented different helper web application, web services and API's for our clients.My job included also working on updating and upgrading the web applications (adding new software components, modifications to the existing code, refactoring) and the infrastructure (servers, networking) for running these apps.I also started to work on some PoC Android applications.

Started to work as Junior Software Developer as part of a small team developing a Directory Information Services web application and IVR applications. I primarily worked on developing on demand IVR (Interactive Voice Response) applications according to client provided scripts using VXML. I also worked on maintenance and development of java web applications running on Tomcat. The main technologies that we used in these projects were Java based (JSP + Servlets), XML+XSLT and SQL.

Worked as a Technical Support Engineer on a suite of projects for US based clients. The main responsibilities of the job were:- Providing technical support to online customers;- Executing daily tests to ensure all the systems are running within optimal parameters.- Perform maintenance or emergency tasks as instructed by the software engineers.
