The Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) is the lead agency in preventing disease, injury and disability; promoting health and well-being; and preparing for and responding to disasters from a health perspective. As CIO and member of the Executive Team, manage the implementation and support of IT infrastructure and business solutions to align with the mission, goals and objectives of the department. Serve as a trusted business partner to the executive team, district leadership and all other DPH staff and together, we identify and implement effective and creative solutions.

Served in a CIO-equivalent role managing all technology operations and strategy for the county’s agencies and offices. Responsible for strategic planning, policy development, project management, systems implementation and development, technology infrastructure, application support, call center management, email, record keeping, accounting, and procurement. Prepared RFPs, negotiated contracts, and managed vendor relations. Administered a $13M operating budget, 100+ staff.
