In providing effective oversight on operations planning and performance, this role had the purpose to enable operational excellence through tactical initiatives and implementation of new capabilities required to achieve the supply chain strategic objectives.Key AchievementsIncreased DIFOT (on Store Fulfilment) from 90% to 95%. (DIF 98% to 99%. DOT 93% to 96%).Optimisation of end to end operations performance reporting and dashboard reducing data processing time by a minimum of 10 hours per week, which moderated analyst costs by ~$20k pa, while providing timely reporting and improved insights. ~10% average improvement in productivity from national initiatives, providing an overall ~$1.5m saving in operational costs. Standardised internal service level agreements, escalation process and aligned KPIs across Distribution Centres for Store, Online and Commercial order fulfilment.

As part of the Supply Chain operations, transport and inventory transformation program, the purpose of this role was to manage the domestic operations projects, to deliver the people, process, systems, equipment and infrastructure needed to unify the Super Retail Group businesses supply chains under a group services operating model.Key AchievementsCommissioned and operationalised two (2) greenfield ~50,000m2 multi-channel / national Distribution Centres (DC) located in Brisbane and Sydney, including the consolidation of two legacy sites into the Brisbane DC. Designed flow path, prime location slotting and replenishment strategy for ~25,000 SKUs, inclusive of ~10,000 SKUs converted from direct to store supply. Functional upgrade of the WMS (to Manhattan WMS2013 for open systems), involving ~150 modifications to support new processes and integrations with requisite systems including slot optimisation, labour management, conveyor controls, dock appointment scheduling, voice picking and Portable Data Terminals (RF).

The objective of this role was to lead the implementation of cross-functional and divisional strategic initiatives that underpinned the required distribution and fulfilment capability.Key AchievementsEstablished process and systems for ~60 online (B2C) fulfilment hub stores, leveraging the existing Australia and New Zealand retail store and distribution centre locations, to reduce order handling costs and lead-time.Led the operationalisation of a greenfield 20,000m2 New Zealand Distribution Centre to support the growth of the Super Cheap Auto multi-channel business. Established distribution centre processes and systems to support the launch of B2B channel – Trade Direct (New Zealand), which facilitated in achieving a sub-60-minute order fulfilment SLA.

The purpose of this role was to proactively contribute toward Distribution Centre performance and continual improvement in the areas of safety, accuracy and service.

This role was aligned to establishing fundamental packaging and barcoding improvements and sustainability in the businesses emerging Supply Chain.

This role had the purpose of improving standards, service and performance within the Super Cheap Auto distribution operations and expanding store network.
