Job Role• Working trains to and from a variety of yards and depots.• Keeping in constant radio contact with the Ground Staff to ensure operations are done safely and punctually.• Maintaining good communication skills to ensure that there are no accidents or SPADS.• Remaining alert at all times to ensure that driving is done safely.• Working in Acton Depot making up and preparing trains.Key Achievements • Maintaining a clean record with no SPADS.• Learning new routes quickly and with good knowledge of them.• Learning how to drive a Class 59 and a Class 60 locomotive.
