I worked at Elliott’s for over 10 years from working on the shop floor to building up to gain my advanced level 3 in business & management. Over the years I have played a key part to execute the company’s & directors views & goals for progression, I was heavily involved in the first production line in the Elliott group to deliver over 200 modular buildings in a multi million pound contract for the new offices for jaguar. I was also involved in the set up of the implementation of stock management within the company & part responsible for the control & distribution of multi products over regional,national and Europe in the excess of over a million pounds worth of stock & to plan for the company’s future production. I was also a key member of the team to help put together a process /project which just recently has been rolled out over the country to plan/record all production & labour hours resulting in total control of forecasted budgets for labour & sub-contractors costs in which total accurate readings can be measured & anylised for the directors budget control and measures. In this time it has given me a great understanding of lean management (5S process & sixth sigma methodology) & understanding relationships at every level are key to success.
