- Experience in the audit of asset management clients involving mutual funds, fund of funds, Private Equity, ETFs, SPV's, Irish domiciled umbrella funds and Cayman domiciled funds. - Experience in auditing hedge funds of various investment strategies such as Global Macro, Equity Market Neutral, Long/Short Funds, Event Driven Funds and Emerging Market Funds.- Experience in auditing air craft leasing companies. - Advising clients on the preparation and presentation of financial statements and reviewing reporting packs prepared in accordance with IFRS, Irish GAAP and US GAAP accounting and disclosure requirements. - Experience in working on engagements of clients under both ISA and US GAAP auditing standards. - Extensive experience working on all facets of auditing including planning, fieldwork and completion. - Seniored audit teams on a number of engagements where I led team members to the successful completion of audits whilst adhering to stringent reporting, regulatory and audit completion deadlines, to the satisfaction of clients and senior management. - Regularly liaise between Investment Managers, Administrators and other service providers to Fund structures based in Ireland, UK, United States, Cayman Islands and Asia. - Responsible for on the job training and coaching junior audit team members. - Risk analysis, budgeting and general account management planning responsibilities, including developing an audit plan presentation for the client. -Experience in Sarbanes-Oxley controls testing, customer and trading group controls testing's & controls testing around the credit function.
