Tasked with evaluating incoming demand, sales history, statistical models and supply settings to aid production scheduling in establishing optimal packaging and inventory deployment schedules for both manufactured and purchased product. Working directly with key customer managers, marketing, production, supply chain managers, packaging, customer service (domestic and international) and suppliers.• Working in conjunction with the finite scheduler to prioritize production schedules and product deployment, analyze and prioritize material shortages, understand and minimize capacity constraints, manage safety stock levels, adhere to inventory goals and achieve line item fill rate goals• Responsible for updating monthly sales and operations planning spreadsheets, analyzing data trends, and identifying capacity constraints for long and short term production planning and managing third party supplier relationships• Overseeing low stock reports, aged product, slow moving stock , pack code conversions including exit strategies• Achieved continuous improvement in customer in stock levels, forecast performance, and reduced inventory levels through collaborative forecast replenishment meetings• Extensively involved in product transitions, allocations• Managing third party supplier relationships• Valued contributor to many process improvement teams and Kaizens Show less
